Henley Theatre Services Ltd (HTS) supplies technical equipment and
services to the performing arts. events, leisure and presentation. We
specialise in lighting, rigging, staging, sound & communications and
offer hire, sales, crewing, design, consultancy, permanent installations,
training, annual inspection, PAT testing and maintenance services.
A free-of-charge advisory service is available for theatre, events
and permanent installations while full consultancy and design studies
can be provided on a fee basis.
HTS's principal activity of equipment hire was enhanced some years
ago by the acquisition and integration of Lighting Scene (Oxford) who
had operated in theatrical and outdoor lighting hire since the early
1970s.
HTS's lighting
and effects hire inventory reflects the trends and product preferences
of recent years, not only in the West End and regional theatre, but also
in the amateur and educational sectors. An important feature is the newness
of the majority of HTS's hire stock, the core of which is ETC's innovative
and energy efficient Source Four lantern ranges. Since 1992,
Source Four has become the product of choice for lighting professionals
worldwide. The super efficient ellipsoidal and dichroic optics and radical
lamp design based on the 750W HPL lamp, provide unequalled performance
and superb imaging. As well as zoom and fixed beam profiles the range
includes Source Four Parnel washlights and Source Four Par beamlights.
The very affordable Source Four Junior range of 575W
profile lanterns has been designed to satisfy the demands not only of
community and educational theatre, but of smaller professional venues
as well.
Numerous other types of theatrical lanterns are stocked
including Strand and Selecon fresnels and PCs, parcans, birdies, cyc floods,
moving lights and
follow spots.
HTS offer
a competitively priced package of 16-colour scrollers, under DMX control
as well as a wide range of memory control desks, image projection and
effects including UV, mirrorballs, strobe, lightning, pyrotechnics, haze,
smoke, low smoke, snow, bubble and silk flames. Lighting
control consoles include ETC Express, Zero88 Fat Frog, Jester and Alcora
DMX memory desks as well as digital and analogue preset desks while dimmer packs are
principally Betapack2, Act6 and Tempus units. HTS
has
a particular specialisation in outdoor lighting applications for which our range includes City Color and Mini City Color outdoor floodlights
with CYM colour mixing under DMX control; together with a large
selection of halogen floodlights, festoons and extensive distribution
