| 1.
PRE-BOOKING: |
|
In order to provide the best possible service and greatest choice of equipment,
HTS request that equipment be booked as early as possible. Subsequent booking
amendments can be accepted subject to equipment availability. In
case of non-availability of any preferred equipment, appropriate substitutes
will be mutually agreed. |
| 2.BOOKING INFORMATION: |

At time of ordering, HTS requires information on: |

Hire orders must be confirmed in writing as should any subsequent amendments
thereto. |
3.
SALES ITEMS AND CONSUMABLES:
|

To
complement our hire activities, HTS can supply a full range of lighting
and electrical equipment and consumables including Lee and Rosco colour
filter, gobos, gaffer tape, PVC tape, cable ties, connectors, cable, lamps,
pyrotechnics, haze and smoke fluid etc. We stock 39 popular Lee colours as detailed in the Colour Filters section of this website. Other Lee colours and the full Rosco range can be provided on a mail order basis direct to the customer's address. A minimum order quantity of 4 sheets applies to mail order purchases. Gobos can similarly be supplied by HTS via mail order with a minimum quantity of 3 gobos.

4.
COLLECTION / DELIVERY: |
|
Equipment on hire should be collected from and returned to HTS premises
at pre agreed times. For customer collections, proof of identity and a
copy of an official order from the customer organisation may be required.
Equipment may be delivered and collected by HTS at our standard carriage
rates subject to availability of transport. We offer a special
rate for deliveries and collections of part-load consignments in the Oxford
area on Mondays and Fridays only. |
| 5. PAYMENT: |
|
Accounts with an agreed credit limit are available
to regular customers, subject to application and approval. Otherwise,
payment should be prior to, or at collection by cash, cleared cheque or
BACS. |
| 6. ORDER CONFIRMATION: |
|
Henley Theatre Services will issue a hire order confirmation following
receipt of equipment details and other necessary information, including
arrangements for delivery/collection and payment. |
7. SAFETY: |
|
Henley Theatre Services attaches highest priority to issues of Health
& Safety and Electrical Safety. All lanterns and other mains powered
equipment are PAT tested at intervals of no more than 12 months and labelled
accordingly. All equipment is tested/inspected prior to collection or
despatch in accordance with the Electricity at Work regulations 1989. |

Test certificates
can be provided at a charge of £1.00 per item, this requires three
working days notice. |
| 8.
FIXINGS & FITTINGS: |
|
All theatrical lanterns are supplied complete with lamp, colour frame
and cable of length up to 1.5m fitted with a 15A plug. Hook clamp and
safety bond or chain are supplied for all lanterns except floorcans, groundrows
and follow spots. For stand or boom mounted applications, appropriate
bolt/nut sets or spigots can be provided instead. Outdoor luminaires are supplied fitted with CEE17 16A plugs. All other accessories
such as gobo holders, irises and barn doors must be separately ordered. |
| 9. USAGE: |
|
All equipment is understood to be for indoor theatrical or event usage
unless otherwise agreed. Outdoor applications must be identified as such
at time of booking to enable HTS to quote for suitable outdoor rated equipment, although the customer must still take full responsibility for weather
protection, security and safety. |
10. SPARE LAMPS: |
|
A minimum of 10% spare lamps including at least one of each type will
be supplied with hire consignments. All failed lamps must be returned
for inspection, or otherwise will be charged for. |
11.
RETURN : |
|
All equipment should be returned in the same condition as delivered, complete
with polypropelene crates and any other packaging. Cables should be returned
coiled and PVC taped, failing which an extra charge may be made for this
work to be carried out by HTS. Decking must be clean, with all tape removed. |
